4″ Replacement Element Screens

4″ Replacement Element / Screens come in different Micron mesh sizes. These listed elements fit Clear view 4” Filters and other brands of 4” flat screen filters.

• CVF Part Number:  430-28
• Smallest Particle Filtered:  28 Micron
  The 4″ Replacement 28 Micron Filter Element is used for filtering Fuels or very light fluids like Transmission oil.

 

• CVF Part Number:  435-60
• Smallest Particle Filtered:  60 Micron
  The 4″ Replacement 60 Micron Filter Element is used for 50 weight and lighter engine oils.

 

• CVF Part Number:  440-115
• Smallest Particle Filtered:  115 Micron
  The 4″ Replacement 115 Micron Filter Element is used for all weights of engine oils including 70 weight.

 

• CVF Part Number:  448-380
• Smallest Particle Filtered:  118 Micron
  The 4″ Replacement 380 Micron Filter Element is very coarse and is used for all weights of engine oils including 70 weight and Diesel applications.

Notes: Filter Elements are interchangeable and can be used with any of the Clear View 4” Filters and / or can also be used with other brands of 4” flat screen style of filters.

Description: Replacement Filter Element / Screens are made stainless steel mesh that can easily be cleaned and reused many times. The filter elements have a Viton® seal formed around the inside and the outside of the filter element, which seals the top filter assembly to the bottom filter assembly. These seals will ware out over time and the element may need to be replaced. Should always carry an extra element when running a See Through Filter just in case it needs replacing.

Elements come in different Micron Mesh sizes to accommodate all different types, thicknesses and viscosities of oils and fluids.

*** The Higher the Micron Number the more Coarse the screen is. Meaning the 60 micron screen mesh’s is woven tighter together so it will trap more particles compared to the 380 micron screen mesh, which is woven farther apart it will let more particles through.

The 4″ Replacement 28 Micron Filter Element is used for fuels or light transmission oils.

The 4″ Replacement 60 Micron Filter Element is used for 50 weight and lighter engine oils.

The 4″ Replacement 115 Micron Filter Element is used for engine oil up to 70 weight.

The 4″ Replacement 380 Micron Filter Element is used when running up to 70 weight engine oils. These Elements are a very coarse which allows diesel soot to flow through without gumming up the element. Also used for replacement element for dry sump tanks and scavenge filters for extreme diesel applications.
