Technical Details: The main body of the valve spring compressor is made of 3/4” thick Billet Aluminum. With its truss design and lightening pockets it is a great looking spring compressor and one of the strongest on the market. This tool was designed to work with stock and racing heads with more than 500 lbs. of seat pressure. This spring compressor kit comes with three different spring cups.

The small diameter cup allows the tool to be used with springs sizes of 1.250” diameter, which fit stock Small Block Chevy’s.

The medium cup works with 1.550” diameter springs, which fit Fords, Dodge, and Big Block Chevy’s.

The large spring cup works with 1.650” diameter all out racing springs.

This tool was designed to have perfect alignment so the roller bearing billet piece on the end of the threaded rod, pushes on the center of the bottom of the valve. While the top spring cup centers on the valve spring and retainer. This makes the tool better and safer than others on the market. This tool is used when the heads are off the engine. If heads have been ran sometimes the keepers are seated so tight you have to lightly hit the top of the spring tool with a rubber mallet to un-seat the keepers before taking the springs off. This kit comes with the tool body assembled and only needs the aluminum handle and the spring cup bolted on before use.
