Description
Clear View Filtration’s Patented Dual Filtration Oil Filter Assemblies are the Best Oil Filtration System on the market. When using the See Through Filter and an additional filter on the bottom the user is able to filter the same particles as a disposable would but with the added ease of being able to monitor the engine without taking or cutting anything part.
This 6″ Screw-On Series Filters (Part #125’s, Part #126’s & P#127’s) were designed and recommend for tractor pulling and other motor sports ran on dirt. This 380 Micron Screen is for Extreme Diesel Engines and Six Cylinder Diesel Tractor Pullers. Its also for the user who wants to filter microscopic and dust particles out of a fluid or oil system that flows high volumes of fluid. Oil flows through the See Through Filter which is equipped with a coarse micron element which traps all the larger particles that can be viewed and inspected while the microscopic particles flow into and get filtered out by the System 1 or Disposable Filter screwed onto the bottom. The filtered oil then flows out of the filter assembly through the outlet opening. This dual stage filter will extend the life and flow of the disposable filter and still allow visual inspection of filtered particles without draining or leaking any fluid, unbolting or loosening any fasteners or fittings and with out any loss of oil. Seeing these filtered particles will help determine if they are from normal use or from bearings and other components excessively wearing in the engine or machinery supplying the Filter Assembly.
These 6” Screw-On Filters (Part # 126 or Part # 127) were designed to use a System 1 or a disposable filter on the bottom. P# 126 or P# 127 have a flat sealing surface on the bottom so a System 1 O-Ring seal can seal correctly. Early finned style System 1 filters which use 2 O-Rings can only use the outside O-Ring to seal. The inside one cannot be used. Recommend using the Billet Pro Series System 1 which uses a single larger O-Ring seal.
**When Running a System 1 or Other Metal Canister Type Filter ; Part # 125-115 and Part #126-380 are very similar filters except:
P# 125-115 filter has a O-Ring Receiver Groove machined in the bottom which helps prevent the disposable filter seal from blowing out. (Note; when using P#125 only a spin on disposable filter can be used)
P # 126-380 or P # 127-380 filter has a Flat Sealing Surface on the bottom so a System 1 O-Ring or Other Canister Filters seal correctly.
(Note; when using P#126 either System 1 or a spin on disposable filters can be used)

Filters have 2 Inlet and 2 Outlet Openings that are threaded for #12 O-Ring Boss – 1-1/16-12 TPI fittings. The Inlet and Outlet Ports are machined to 7/8” diameter and will flow a #16 line when using #12 O-Ring Boss to #16 JIC bored out fittings. All 4 ports can be used, but #16 fittings can not go in and out of the same side of the filter assembly.
